BetBright Chase preview: Bally Legend in line for Kempton repeat

Image: Bally Legend: Only 2lb higher than when scoring last February

Last year's winner Bally Legend is among an entry of 45 for the BetBright Chase at Kempton on February 21.

Trainer Caroline Keevil hopes a recent procedure to tinker with his wind will help the 10-year-old to return to the form which saw him beat Bury Parade in the £100,000 feature last season.

"He loves Kempton so this seemed the obvious race to target for his comeback," said Keevil.

"He hasn't run since November as he was struggling with his wind but we've had that seen to now.

"We'll have to go straight there, unfortunately, but I'd hope to get a racecourse gallop into him somewhere along the way and hopefully that will put him spot on.

"He's actually only 2lb higher than when he won it, so he's not handicapped out of it, but it looks like it could be quite a hot race this year."

Others to feature are Cheltenham Festival winners Present View, Spring Heeled and Rajdhani Express. The latter is trained by Nicky Henderson who has also put in Hadrian's Approach.
