This afternoon's meeting at Doncaster has passed a 7.30am precautionary inspection and goes ahead as scheduled.
A troublesome overnight forecast had given track officials cause for some consternation - even in spite of the course having been covered with frost sheets.
But with conditions due to improve throughout the day, clerk of the course Roderick Duncan was happy to give the jumps fixture the thumbs-up.
He said: "It got to minus 2.5C earlier, but things have since warmed up.
"The forecast is positive for the day and the frost covers have clearly done their job."
The going is good, with the seven-race card due to start at 1.25pm.
