Conditional jockey Charlie Deutsch will miss his weekend rides after a fall at Cheltenham but no bones are broken.

He was taken to hospital after his mount Rather Be was badly hampered at the second flight and unseated him in the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle on Friday.

His boss, Venetia Williams, said: "He's sore but thankfully he hasn't broken anything.

"I don't know how long he'll be out but he definitely won't be riding this weekend.

"He broke his arm riding for Paul Nicholls in the same race last year and when I saw him come down all I could think was "oh no not again".

"Thankfully this time it's not as serious."
