Red-hot favourite Arrogate will break from stall nine in Saturday's Dubai World Cup at Meydan.

Bob Baffert's grey is the highest-rated Flat horse in the world following brilliant displays in the Travers Stakes at Saratoga, the Breeders' Cup Classic at Santa Anita and the inaugural Pegasus World Cup Invitational at Gulfstream in January.

The American challenger is odds-on across the board for the world's richest race and connections are unlikely to be fazed by his starting berth.

Baffert also saddles Hoppertunity, who is in gate 12, while Steve Asmussen's Gun Runner is another contender from the United States in stall five.

Mike de Kock's Mubtaahij, who was runner-up to California Chrome in last year's renewal, will have to come from widest of all in stall 14.
