Olly Murphy continued the flying start he has made to his training career with an across-the-card four-timer on Sunday.

The 25-year-old, who spent fours years as assistant to Gordon Elliott, struck gold with his very first runner when Dove Mountain won at Brighton at the start of the month and he has made several visits to the winner's enclosure since.

Murphy watched on from Stratford as 6-4 joint-favourite Knight Commander landed the opening Racing Partnership TRP Novices' Handicap Hurdle at Newton Abbot under champion jockey Richard Johnson.

He then enjoyed a hat-trick in Warwickshire as Cliffside Park (11-8) landed the Touch FM Selling Hurdle, Skilled (11-8 favourite) won the Ardencote Novices' Handicap Chase and 10-1 shot Mizen Master drew clear in the Debenhams Novices' Handicap Hurdle.

Speaking before Mizen Master's success, Murphy told Racing UK: "It's magic, fairytale stuff.

"I can't put it into words. It's been a magic start and I just want to keep moving forward.
