Addeybb is among 25 horses still engaged in the Al Shaqab Lockinge on May 19 at Newbury.

Trainer William Haggas will, however, also consider the Prix d'Ispahan at ParisLongchamp on May 27 for the exciting four-year-old, who has won the Lincoln at Doncaster and a Group Two at Sandown already this season.

Haggas told At The Races: "He put up an improved effort at Sandown.

"The Lockinge seems eminently sensible to me, but we are going to put him in the Prix d'Ispahan the week after, which is over eight and a half furlongs, as I've no doubt he will get up to 10 in time."

Andre Fabre has left in Le Brivido, beaten in the Abernant Stakes on his return, and Jimmy Two Times, second in a Group Two on Tuesday.

Beat The Bank, Limato, Dutch Connection and Lightning Spear are among some of the older generation engaged.

Aidan O'Brien's Rhododendron, no match for Cracksman at the weekend, is one of five from Ballydoyle, while Ger Lyons may run Psychedelic Funk.

Stormy Antarctic has the option, with trainer Ed Walker hoping the ground is on the easy side.

Walker said:

"He relishes conditions that have some give underfoot, so if conditions came into his liking, a race like the Lockinge might be something that we look at."
